How it works
The Loopio connector indexes the Library entries in your Loopio account. Each Library entry becomes one document. The document text contains the answer and the related questions. The first question is the document title. You can index the whole Library or one Stack. Loopio content is re-indexed every 24 hours by default. You can change Refresh Every under Schedule when you create the connector.Setting up
Authorization
The connector uses a Loopio API client (client credentials). A Loopio administrator creates the client.1
Create an API client
In Loopio, open Settings → Integrations → API and create a new API client.
Follow the Loopio API guide for details.
2
Record the credentials
Note the Client ID and Client Secret. Loopio shows the secret only once.
Indexing
1
Create a credential
Go to Admin Panel → Connectors and select Loopio. Select New Loopio Account and enter:
- Loopio Subdomain: the first part of your Loopio URL. For
acme.loopio.com, enteracme. - Loopio Client ID: the client ID from above.
- Loopio Client Token: the client secret from above.
2
Choose a Stack (optional)
In Loopio Stack Name, enter the exact name of one Stack to index only that Stack.
Leave the field empty to index the whole Library.
3
Choose document access
Under Document Access, select Everyone in Your Organization or Specific Groups.
Specific Groups needs the Business or Enterprise tier on Onyx Cloud, or the Enterprise Edition when self-hosted.
4
Start indexing
Select Create Connector to start indexing.
The Loopio connector indexes only Library entries. It does not index Projects or RFP documents.
It does not support Sync with Loopio (permission sync).
